CNESST : COVID‑19 TOOLKIT

→ The CNESST proposes a toolkit to guarantee that operations can resume or continue under the safest and healthiest possible conditions in the context of COVID‑19. It is addressed to employers and workers in all economic sectors to support them in their management of health and safety.

GOUVERNEMENT DU QUÉBEC
  1. Workers: find financial assistance (online tool)
    This tool can be used to determine the financial assistance that might respond to your situation during the pandemic.
  2. Incentive program to retain essential workers (IPREW)
    The Québec government has announced a new financial assistance program for individuals working in essential jobs. The financial support amount will make up the difference between the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) and an individuals’ eligible wages.
  3. Relief Measures for Individuals
    To make life easier for individuals affected by the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, Revenu Québec has introduced relief measures that will coincide with income tax season.

TOURISM INDUSTRY

The Gouvernement du Québec is endeavouring to put measures in place with the goal of assisting the tourism industry.

GOUVERNEMENT DU QUÉBEC
  1. Businesses: find financial assistance
    This tool can be used to determine the financial assistance that might respond to your situation during the pandemic.
  2. Emergency assistance for SMEs
    The program supports small and medium-sized enterprises that experience financial difficulties during the pandemic (in French only).
  3. Concerted temporary action program for businesses (PACTE)
    This new emergency funding measure provides ad hoc and exceptional support for businesses affected by the repercussions of COVID-19.
  4. Continued employment (PACME)
    Support for businesses and self-employed workers whose activities are reduced during the pandemic (in French only).
  5. Flexibility measures respecting existing loans and loan guarantees
    Flexibility measures for businesses during the pandemic (in French only).

Financial aid

Support for tourism business operators

We will work with operators of tourism businesses in national parks, historic sites and marine conservation areas to defer payments of interest-free leases and occupancy permits until September 1, 2020.

Support for air transportation sector

The government is waiving ground lease rents from March 2020 through to December 2020 for the 21 airport authorities that pay rent to the federal government. For more information >>
