“Since we integrated professional photos to the Parc Régional des Sept-Chutes’ Google My Business listings, we have seen an exponential increase in visits (on the listing and on Google Maps). We also received several emails from Google indicating that our photos had been seen 250, 500 and even 1,000 times! We also are receiving notifications about scores given by users, which are often 4 or 5 stars. These are remarkable statistics, considering that the park’s listings previously had very little support.”

How to prepare for the training

To make sure that tourism sector businesses can get the most from the training sessions, for the short and the long run, some factors will need to be taken into account in preparation for it.

For Effectively Using Google My Business Listings, participants must:

  • Have taken the Getting started with Google my Business training OR
  • Have a basic knowledge of Google My Business listings

These training sessions are only the beginning: regular updating of the listing information is crucial to help optimize visibility and ensure that visitors are well informed.
